Penrith CC - Where are we?

Where: At the present time we are racing at the Olympic Regatta Centre in Penrith.

When: During daylight savings we start racing at 6.30pm on Monday evenings (sign on by 6pm). These races are criteriums and are short and fast in nature. During the Winter road season, we start racing at 8.00am (sign on by 7.30am Sunday mornings - check the calendar for dates)

How to get there: From Penrith, take Mulgoa Rd and follow this North for about 3km out of town to a big round-about. The turn to the left is Castlereagh Rd, take this and head West for about 2km to the last gate on the right, just before a small bridge (this is the 2nd of 2 bridges). Enter by this gate and proceed into the center. Drive leftwards across the bridge over the lake to a carpark on the left.

The course: The course itself is very flat and fast on near perfect hotmix. Most A grade races average from 40kph to 43kph, B grade usually 38kph to 41kph, other grades incrementally slower (usually).
