The Junior's Page

Penrith Panthers encourages and supports all Juniors who are interested in racing, or just plain bike riding. We have a number of strong performers who are competing at National level but our Junior racing is not limited to the elite - it is open to all. 11/05/2009 Wagga Junior Tour: 2nd - 3rd May

Three riders from our club competed in this tour in glorious Autumn weather, great conditions for racing. They were Micaela Hogan, Eric Neumann and Ollie Holding.

All three riders raced very well, Micaela competed in the U17 women's and impressed many people with her never give up attitude!

Eric raced with the U15 men A grade, he was happy with his time trail result against some top class riders. In each of the road stages he found himself chasing hard to get back to the lead bunch, which he did in each race to finish with the same as the winner. He finished 8th overall and only 1min 56sec behind the GC overall winner. A great start to the season.

Ollie raced in the U15 men B grade, and he came away with first place. A great result, Congratulations Ollie!
